Pennant CH Hydronic Heating Boiler
CSI CONSERVATION SYSTEMS INC 407.351.9121    CONTACT    HOME

Easy to Install. Easy to Maintain. Easy to Use. Lower fuel bills.
The LAARS Pennant CH is an advanced, high-efficiency, hydronic heating boiler that delivers thermal efficiencies as high as 84% or more (85% minimum steady state combustion efficiency) and features fan-assisted sealed combustion, an innovative modular design, and electronic PID temperature control. Pennant CH units are available from 200,000 to 2,000,000 BTUs per hour (input).

Designed for fast installation, trouble-free long-term operation, and minimal yearly service costs, every Pennant CH unit is fully modular, with separate, easily-accessible heat exchanger, burner tray, gas train, combustion blower, igniter, and electronic components, and a simple—yet sophisticated—digital operating control with front panel temperature display, precision fingertip temperature adjustment, and complete diagnostic indicator lights.

Pennant CH units are available with or without a built-in pump, and, for applications that require greater heating capacities, individual units may be stacked on specially-designed racks. Multiple boiler installations also allow for boiler rotation (to extend operational life), redundancy (for backup purposes), or both.

LAARS Pennant CH Boiler with Built-In Pump

Fully fired, tested, and calibrated before leaving the factory, every Pennant arrives on the job ready to get right to work!

Also available: The new Pennant CP low temperature boiler, designed specifically for use with heat pump systems.

Pennant Performance Ratings
Fuel energy input, heat energy output, and net IBR rating in BTUs per hour x 1000 (MBH); steady state combustion efficiency as a percentage; and firing mode in stages.
Model Input Output Net IBR Rating Efficiency Firing Mode
200 199.9 169.9 144.4 85% 2
300 299.9 254.9 216.7 85% 2
400 399.9 339.9 288.9 85% 2
500 500 425 361 85% 2
750 750 638 542 85% 2
1000 1000 849 722 85% 3
1250 1250 1063 903 85% 4
1500 1500 1275 1084 85% 4
1750 1750 1488 1264 85% 4
2000 2000 1699 1444 85% 4
Net IBR rating includes an allowance for normal piping and pickup load (about 15% of the boiler's rated output). Steady-state combustion efficiency represents the amount of heat actually available to the system compared to the amount of heat available in the fuel less any heat lost up the flue (stack loss).

Pennant Water Flow Requirements
Minimum water flow in gallons per minute (GPM) required to heat the supply water by the indicated temperature rise (F°) and the resulting head loss (H/L) across the boiler's heat exchanger.
