Adjustable electronic time delay allows built-in pump to operate only when necessary, decreasing standby losses and energy consumption (on 500-1825 MBH only). To increase tube life, pump also allows a constant velocity to be maintained through the boiler, high enough to prevent scaling, but low enough to prevent erosion.
Preheated inlet water eliminates condensation on the heat exchanger, minimizing costly downtime and lengthening the entire heater's service life.
Salt water models with cupronickel tubes and bronze trim are also available.
