EXHAUSTO MDF Modulating Damper |
The EXHAUSTO MDF Modulating Damper is used to control the air pressure in a boiler or mechanical room. It is designed exclusively for use in an EXHAUSTO MODS Modulating Over-Pressure Damper System and exerts this control by physically limiting the flow of air out of the room with a motorized damper. This automated operation maintains perfect draft under all condition, improves safe boiler operation and increases fuel efficiency. |
In a MODS
system, the MDF may be used as an individual over-fire draft damper for a single
boiler system or as common over-draft damper for multiple heating
appliances. Each unit features multiple sixteen gauge stainless steel dampers in an opposed blade design mounted on a stainless steel shaft with stainless steel bearings. This assures extremely accurate control of the flow and long-term durability. Brushless DC driven actuator motor is fast acting and delivers a minimum of 240 in-lb of torque at the rated voltage and is custom configured for the damper. The ruggedly-constructed damper assembly features flanged connections that fit most types of pressurized stack. The MDF is limited to operating temperatures of 750°F or below and is available in sizes from 12"Ø to 36"Ø. MDF Product Information MDF Installation Manual |
