A Revolutionary Pool Heater for Every Application!

The advanced LAARS Pennant CP is an advanced, high efficiency, gas-fired pool heating boiler that features a unique built-in automatic mixing system to prevent low temperature return water from causing condensation to form on the heat exchanger—condensation that may cause severe—even irreversible—damage to the entire unit in as little as a few years (or less). Available in sizes from 125,000 to 2,000,000 BTUs per hour (input), the Pennant CP is especially suited for large commercial, institutional, and community swimming pools, and water and theme park applications.

Simple—yet sophisticated—digital operating control with front panel temperature display, precision fingertip temperature adjustment, and complete diagnostic indicator lights.

Completely sealed, self-monitoring combustion system with fan-assisted and filtered combustion air supply minimizes NOx emissions and delivers efficiencies as high as 86% (85% minimum steady state combustion efficiency). Pilotless hot surface also ignition enhances safety and reliability.

Modular construction with easily accessible heat exchanger, burner tray, gas train, blower, igniter, and electrical components. Built-in pump with adjustable time delay operates only when necessary, minimizing standby losses and energy consumption. Built-in backwash switch allows pool maintenance operations to take place safely without inadvertent high-limit shut-downs.

For applications that require larger heating capacities, individual units may be stacked (up to two high) on specially-designed racks. Multiple boiler installations also allow for boiler rotation (to extend operational life), redundancy (for backup purposes), or both.

Fully fired, tested, and calibrated before leaving the factory, every Pennant arrives ready to get to connect.

Steady-state combustion efficiency represents the amount of heat actually available to the system compared to the amount of heat available in the fuel less any heat lost up the flue (stack loss).
