Cross-Linked EPDM Composite Tubing with Aramid

WattsRadiant Onix is an extremely durable, flexible, light-weight and installer-friendly radiant heat tubing formed by five heat- and age-resistant materials. It is a radiant heating product that can be installed with lifelong confidence.

Onix hydronic tubing is a cross-linked Durel EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) composite rubber tubing reinforced with a 1000 denier Aramid fiber mesh and an integrated AlumaShield oxygen barrier to prevent oxygen from passing through the tube wall and corroding ferrous components in the systems. It is unaffected by sunlight, UV radiation from fluorescent lamps, moisture, or extreme temperatures. Onix is also flame, freeze, crush, and abrasion resistant, and is very flexible and easy to work with at any temperature.
