Components |
Components available in even and odd diameters ranging from 6" to 48" (larger diameters available upon request up to 60" diameter and larger). |
Standard components include: Straight Sections, Adjustable Lengths, Expansion Joints, Tee's, Elbows, Wyes, Drain Sections and Tees, Increasers, Rain Caps, Roof Penetrations, guides and support members. In addition, virtually any conceivable fitting is available as a special order item. |
Standard ducts feature a Type 304 stainless steel liner (sufficient for most applications) and an aluminized steel outer shell. For increased resistance to the corrosive effects of combustion byproducts, Type 316 stainless steel is available for the liner and either Type 304 or 316 stainless steel steel for the shell. For exterior sections that are not easily accessible for periodic painting, a Type 304 stainless steel outer shell requires no maintenance. |
Standard liners are 20 gauge steel; standard shells are 22 gauge aluminized steel. Fittings larger than 24" Ø feature 18 guage steel; pipe larger than 36" Ø uses only 18 gauge steel. |
All Schebler components are subjected to structural tests, wind load tests, and skin temperature tests. |
Listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) under file MH17739 for use in Grease Duct applications to 500°F (260°F) continuous and 2000°F (1093°C) intermittent. [UL Listing 1978] |
