With combustion efficiencies as high as 87%, the Rheos+'s self-monitoring sealed combustion system further enhances performance. A powerful variable-speed combustion blower brings filtered outside air directly into the unit (no indoor air is necessary) and, at the same time, forces the toxic byproducts of the combustion process outside the building and into the atmosphere. As a further cost advantage, heavy, multi-walled gas venting is not required.
The Rheos+ can be staged with up to eight other units with the LAARS MC multiple modulating boiler sequencing control (with outdoor reset and all control algorithms) for a unified ultra-high efficiency heating installation.
The Rheos+ automatically optimizes its operation and will run at full efficiency "right out of the box." It is also compatible with most building automation system (BAS) products and interface cards for most popular control systems are available (Metasys, LONWorks, etc.).
The Rheos+ also features the highest density and smallest footprint available, so it takes up far less floor space. In fact, it's so compact it can fit through a standard doorway.
